Dampness & Rot in Lower Walls
This is probably one of the most common repair items that occur in property maintenance.
Dampness has three main sources:
- Rising Damp
- Penetrating Damp
- Condensation
Lower Wall:
- Rising Dampness
- Damp Course too low, at ground level or bridged
- Poor sub floor ventilation
- Condensation
